Williamsport, Ind. (CNS) — Claud T. Hellwig, 52, of Williamsport, died unexpectedly at 11:45 a.m. yesterday (Sept. 6, 1966) while at work at the Harrison Steel Castings Co. at Attica. He was a foreman in the pattern shop. Death was from natural causes. He was a life resident of the Williamsport area. Born Dec. 31, 1913, in Williamsport, he was a son of Robert E. and Joan Whitson Hellwig. He was married March 12, 1937, in Williamsport to Thelma Oswalt who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Joan Hellwig of Lafayette; a son, Thomas of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Louise Geeding of Victorville, Calif., and Miss Patricia Ann Hellwig of Indianapolis, and a brother, J. Fred Hellwig of Indianapolis. Mr. Hellwig was a member of the Williamsport Methodist Church and its church board. He was past master of Williamsport Lodge 38, F&AM; Chapter 3, RAM; Tippecanoe Council 68, R&SM; Lafayette Commandry 3 Knights Templar and Murat Shrine of Indianapolis. He was president of the Warren Community School Board and a former trustee of Washington Township. Friends will be received at the Crowmer-Siddens Funeral Home in Williamsport after 4 p.m. today. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Clyde Beckner officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  --typed by Walt W
